Dr. Ch’ng Huck Khoon is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in finance, corporate compliance, and sustainability. He holds a PhD in Finance from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Stirling, United Kingdom. He is also a HRD Corp Accredited Trainer and a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional (GRI CSP) (2023 to 2026), reflecting his strong credentials in sustainable business practices.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Ch’ng has conducted more than 1,000 seminars, training over 20,000 professionals in the financial and capital markets industry, including directors of public listed companies. His extensive experience has established him as a highly sought-after speaker and trainer.
In his consultancy work, Dr. Ch’ng has advised large corporations on complex compliance and governance matters. He possesses deep expertise in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), as well as Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering regulations, providing valuable guidance to organisations navigating today’s regulatory landscape. He has also served as an independent director for five public listed companies, holding key leadership roles such as Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee.
Dr. Ch’ng has also made significant contributions to academia. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and as a Senior Lecturer at Wawasan Open University (WOU). From 2018 to 2021, he was an Honorary Lecturer at USM, where he contributed to academic development and knowledge sharing.
